Feast your eyes on the glory that is a day of food “window shopping” in Madrid.  Don’t worry – you won’t gain too much weight from just looking at the pictures.

  1. I’m going to Madrid in just a few few weeks, so it’s very exciting to see these photos!

    • Have so much fun! Mercado de San Miguel is a great place to wander around in the morning to get some churros con chocolate or if you want a pre-dinner drink, it’s also really fun and lively. My friend and I stopped by again later yesterday to grab a sangria and it was only 2 euro! What a bargain! Be sure to check back again as I am going to write another Madrid re-cap story soon!

      • Thanks! I’m looking forward to your next post!

      • Glad to know these are just glorified public emails to my family and close friends and that other people enjoy reading them haha! Please do share the link with any other travel buddies you have or your friends back home. It would be loads of fun to have more commenters like you on the site so I can direct my content to what people would like to read about in regards to my travels and life abroad!

      • Also – how long will you be in Madrid? Let me know if you have any questions of things to see/best stops during the time you have there!

      • I’ll be in Madrid for 8 days. I’d love to hear your suggestions for the best places to visit!
